Pink Suit

by

Dear All, I present to you, this PINK SUIT. ...with this suit, it was love at first sight. It's the perfect shade of pink, the shade I'm totally obsessed with at the moment. Topshop, you have done too well with this one. As soon as I saw the suit on the mannequin, I knew the suit had to go home with me no matter what, I had to make it work on me...somehow!   !function(d,s,id){var e, p = /^http:/.test(d.location) ? 'http' : 'https';if(!d.getElementById(id)) {e = d.createElement(s);e.id = id;e.src = p + '://' + 'widgets.rewardstyle.com' + '/js/shopthepost.js';d.body.appendChild(e);}if(typeof window.__stp === 'object') if(d.readyState === 'complete') {window.__stp.init();}}(document, 'script', 'shopthepost-script'); JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Knowing the likelihood of seeing it on 100 other people is high, but I know those people will have similar personality traits as me, the one which this suit commands. I'm happy to associate. True confession, it's one of my ...

Ruffled Jumper and Military Blazer

by

Ruffles on everything! I've always had a thing for ruffles or frills. It's the playfulness and fun vibe. My mum bought and often made me clothes with ruffles, bows and ribbons when I was younger, I guess that's where the love comes from. I must say, I am a repeat offender with this ruffled jumper, I already featured it once on the blog so no need for intro. I could pull an endless list of ruffled jumpers and tops I'm coveting right now, but I'll spare you guys. The French Connection jumper as per outfit is an oldie and currently sold out, but I'm totally in love with this other jumper, which my bank account says no to! In saying that, here are few looks as seen during on the AW16 runway shows. I particularly liked the knits from Mother of Pearl. !function(doc,s,id){ var e, p, cb; if(!doc.getElementById(id)) { e = doc.createElement(s); e.id = id; cb ...

Bishop Sleeves

by

Serving you a vintage inspired look with this buttoned cuff bishop sleeved shirt from H&M. I think I'm going to become one with this shirt through spring, turning a blind eye to bell sleeves which is having its moment this season. I still can't quite tell if the colour cream gold or buttercup - after checking the Pantone colour chart. But either way, I think I've discovered my new favourite colour. I'm also abso crazy about the relaxed fit of the shirt. While at it, can we have a moment to discuss my braids? I normally have my hair like this as it's wind proof when it's braided. I get quite a lot of  compliments and 'how to' questions. The good thing is now that braids have been adopted by everyone, you can search for videos on youtube, I promise it's really easy. So, my old New Look sautoir-choker hybrid ...

Time for Pointy Flat Shoes

by

Whilst the weather is doing all sorts, here's the calm before the storm. When I say storm, I mean London Fashion Week. I'm actually having a hard time planning my outfits because I know not what the weather will bring...the winter cold mornings and summer warm afternoons, or just winter cold all day. Transitional looks aren't the easiest to work around. Knowing I will have a lot of walking to do during London Fashion Week, I think flat shoes are sensible (ha! did I just say that?). Not to say I won't have my heels on stand-by though. Anyway, here is a peek at one of the pieces you will see me running around in during London Fashion Week, these hot red pumps from Topshop. They are so gorgeous aren't they? Absolute bargain for under 20 quid. I'm trying to break into them so they are well comfy for fashion week. ...
