Striped Crop Top x Culottes

by

Striped Crop Top x Culottes Who knew horizontal stripes would work on a busty girl like me? There it was, a funnel neck, stripey crop top, I looked at it hanging pretty in a Zara store, I put it up against me, checked my self out on the mirror and shook my head - nah not for me I thought. The thing is, because I'm quite busty, I have to be careful with crop tops, they could either make my torso look shorter or hang uncomfortably on down my chest - that look I really can't quite describe... To cut the story short, my friend 'L' (those on my snapchat would know who L is) encouraged me to give it a go, which I did with much reluctance but I was totally prepared to prove him wrong. After all, I know what suits me right? Alas! it was a good call. Oversized Pink Coat

by

I literally can't get enough of this oversized military style pink coat. I already shared a mirror selfie on instagram, and yes, it was very well received. Adding to the good news, the coat is currently on sale for ridiculously cheap (here), so if this is your cup of tea, you should totally take advantage. Also, these Boden booties have become my go-to since I nabbed them about a week ago in the sale. They work so well with everything and are quite comfortable. So, if you don't mind, you'll be seeing them a lot in my outfit posts.   //

May Your Winter Coat Keep You Warm | The Long Coat

by

It's that time of the year when your winter coat is about to be the most valuable item of clothing in your wardrobe - well, it's certainly mine. I struggle with winter coats, I never really have a style, colour (ok maybe black) or anything in mind when shopping for one, I let my intuition take the wheel and it's always right. This is the first winter I've opted for a winter coat that isn't black, and a long one too. Now, the long coat is a classic, but this season, it has returned to take it's place high up on the trend ladder. This oversized pastel blue number is my go-to this winter, apart from the colour, I particularly like the relaxed fit, wide notch lapels, dropped shoulders and  and the length is just right - the details. A Denim Skirt Situation

by

Wearing: Shirt - Crew Clothing (also seen here), Denim Skirt - ASOS, Bag - Zac Posen, Shoes - Topshop (also seen here), Sunglasses - New Look I haven't owned or worn a denim skirt in ages, not until recently. I remember my first denim skirt (eons ago), it was a hand-me-down from one of my sisters and I always felt so cool and grown up wearing it. I don't know when and how denim skirts became a fashion no-no, but I know not too long ago, denim skirts were so not cool... If styled properly, I strongly support that it's OK to wear denim skirts, try not to think about those 90's stiff denim skirts. Here, I've given my twist to it, I paired my denim skirt with an oversized boyfriend shirt, knotted in front for an edgy look. I hope you like the look, let me know ...
