Final day in Paris was a trip to see the Notre Dame. The train back to London wasn’t until 7pm, so we had enough time to do some more sightseeing. Visiting the Notre Dame was the last thing on my ‘to do’ list. I was dressed for comfort as usual, wearing my converse and a hat to help against the wind and I also piled on a couple extra layers underneath my dress – anything to keep warm.

Stopped by for lunch at Aux Tours de Notre Dame which I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Paris. The food was very nice and the interior wasn’t what I was expecting. The inside was well decorated, felt more like a restaurant than it looked from the outside. The ‘adventurous me’ chose from the suggestions du jour on the menu, which was also recommended by the waiter – Frogs’ Legs coated with breadcrumbs and parsley and french fries. I wasn’t disappointed, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, trying a french delicacy is definitely one of the highlights of my trip.

Now that Paris is done, I need a warm destination. Somewhere chilled out, with a beach and lots of sunshine…
