Your Guide to Styling Up an Arm Party

Arm parties can be the perfect way to accessorise, whether you’re going to a special event or you’re simply going out for the day. They can look amazing with just about any outfit, and make great Instagram/Pinterest pictures too! This guide will help you to style up your very own arm party.

Mix Metals and Colours

To put together a great arm party, you can’t be afraid of mixing metals and colours until you come up with a good combination. Some people say you can’t mix silver and gold, for instance, but you can! Gold looks amazing with shades of turquoise, while silver can look awesome with colours like yellow and pink. Experiment until you find something that suits you!

Mix Materials and Textures

Materials and textures will make your arm party look so much more interesting. Studded bracelets paired with metal bangles and leather bits will look way more interesting than bracelets all made from the same material. Get creative with your choices. If you need help, make sure you look on Pinterest and Instagram, as there will be plenty on there.

Wear Different Styles

Don’t worry about the styles of your bracelets. Have fun mixing them up! You might enjoy mixing friendship bracelets, bangles, boho styles, and more. They don’t all have to be the same kind of style to look good. That being said, you can keep them in the same kind of ‘genre’ if you like. It’s completely up to you!

Stack Them All Up

The more bracelets you wear in this case, the better! Stack them all up and have fun with them. Don’t worry about wearing too many at once. I love stacking up arm cuffs for a really tough, different look.

Include a Statement Piece

Including a statement piece is a good idea, because you can then base the rest of your arm party choices around that. A statement piece like a watch would work well. Experiment with different coloured watch bands too if you like. Always mix bracelets of different sizes and colours to avoid looking too ‘samey’. Be careful you don’t wear anything that could get damaged. For example, if you plan on wearing a metal watch, be careful of adding other bracelets that could scratch the surface.

Style Both Arms

Don’t think you can only create this look on one arm either. You can style up both arms to really enhance your look! Don’t do both arms exactly the same though. You can style them in the same fashion, but make sure you use different pieces to avoid looking too symmetrical.

The arm party has been around for a while, and it isn’t going anywhere any time soon. If you want to funk up your holiday, festival, and regular day to day looks, make sure you try it out! I love layered looks like this and try to do it with my necklaces and outfits too. Let me know how you got on in the comments.
