Brunch and Bottomless Prosecco at Forge & Co

Located right in the heart of Shoreditch, one of London’s most distinctive and unusual social areas, I stopped over for brunch on a hot summer day with my girlfriends at Forge & Co. For the first time in a long time, I felt so cool and on trend; very hip, if you know what I mean…

The interior of the Canteen which is on street level entrance is informal, open and relaxed which immediately makes you feel chilled out. I say this because new places throw me off sometimes, I sometimes find them intimidating, which is one of the reasons I don’t get around much, I go to same places over and over again.

Forge & Co serves modern British dishes, of course, it’s in East London so it has its quirky twist. I had a yummy Steak Tartare served with egg yolk, rocket, parmesan and sourdough priced at £9, Triple Cooked Fries at £3.50 along with free refills of Prosecco for £10 which runs for about 2 hours while you have your meal.

…I had a cheesecake for dessert and it’s no doubt one of the best I’ve ever had, and no I’m not exaggerating!

Prices on the brunch menu are pretty decent, and the atmosphere and vibe is perfect for a nice hang out with friends or even solo…
